Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, emphasized that the summits provide unique opportunities to forge hemispheric consensus at the highest political level in search of solutions to the continent’s most pressing problems.
This marks the official start of the summit work, which ABD will support. As an organization, we act as a consultation mechanism for the private sector in the summit preparation.
This is a unique opportunity for our work, reflected in recommendations, to reach all governments and be considered in high-level political dialogues in the run-up to the meeting.
