ABD participated in Uruguay's Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Forum

During Uruguay’s Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Forum, organized by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), ABD participated in various panels discussing the transformative potential of innovation and Artificial Intelligence for economic development, as well as mechanisms to promote public-private collaboration aimed at enhancing productivity.

ABD was represented by the Latin American Internet Association (ALAI), Microsoft, Salesforce, Google, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Intel, Meta, Globant, Mercado Libre, and the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technologies (CUTI)

The ABD members shared their insights and proposals alongside policymakers, academics, and representatives from civil society in Uruguay, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the international community.

Launch of the Private Sector Task Force for the Amazon

ABD, the IDB, and IDB Invest held the inaugural meeting of the Private Sector Task Force for the Amazon under the framework of Amazonía Forever, the Bank's program aimed at promoting the sustainable development of the region and enhancing its natural and cultural wealth.
