Looking forward

Towards the 5th CEO Summit of the Americas

On December 3–4, 2025, the Dominican Republic will become the epicenter of regional economic dialogue as it hosts the 5th CEO Summit of the Americas. This high-level event, taking place on the eve of the 10th Summit of the Americas, will serve as a key opportunity to shape a shared agenda for growth, investment, and cooperation between the private sector and government leaders of the region.

Since its inception, the CEO Summit of the Americas has enabled a platform for private sector engagement in regional conversation. This fifth edition, co-organized by the Government of the Dominican Republic and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), is expected to bring a renewed focus on aligning business interests with the political commitments emerging from the Summit.

The Americas Business Dialogue (ABD) will play a central role in the preparation and execution of the CEO Summit, channeling private sector participation from across the region. Throughout 2025, the ABD will work hand in hand with its Working Groups, involving over 400 leading companies to propose public policy priorities in key strategic sectors. As a result of this effort, the ABD will present its Policy Recommendations Report, grounded in thematic documents produced by each group and offering concrete proposals to spur investment and promote economic development across the Americas.

The CEO Summit will also provide a unique opportunity to expand networks and generate new synergies. Business executives, industry associations, chambers of commerce, and key players from the economic ecosystem in the region are expected to participate in a space designed for dialogue, connection, and action.

The year 2025 will be pivotal in highlighting the potential for collaboration between governments and the private sector. The 5th CEO Summit of the Americas will serve as the platform to make this vision a reality.
