The Americas Business Dialogue (ABD) Health Working Group’s first virtual meeting was held on February 3rd, 2021. It gave private sector actors involved in the Health sector a first chance to voice their concerns and display a Work-plan Proposal for the Group.
Four areas for collaboration between the ABD Health Working Group and IDB were highlighted:
1. COVID-19 Vaccine Financing 2. Potential Regional Policy Dialogue 3. Further development of Good Regulatory Practices (GRP) in the Member States 4. Recommendations for the Summit of the Americas It was agreed that to disseminate more broadly the recommendations and have additional opportunities to promote their implementation, the Working Group should also explore other relevant international or national fora.
