In its preparatory stage, the <strong>Americas Business <\/strong><strong>Dialogue, an initiative led by the private sector and facilitated by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB<\/strong>)<strong>,<\/strong> contributes with policy recommendations generated in the sectoral working groups. The CEO Summit took place in Cartagena de Indias on April 13-14, 2012, offering a unique venue for the hemisphere\u2019s most important business and government leaders to gather and discuss the many opportunities for social and economic development in Latin America and the Caribbean. The CEO Summit of the Americas was a great success.
