The III CEO Summit of the Americas was held in Lima, Peru on April 12-13, 2018, immediately before the VIII Summit of the Americas. The theme of the III CEO Summit was “Made in the Americas,” analyzing the potential of value chains in our hemisphere and the importance of public-private collaboration to promote investment, facilitate trade, and boost sustainable development in our region. The event was structured around a series of panels based on the agenda of the Working Groups of the Americas Business Dialogue, focusing on topics such as the disruption of the digital economy, financial technology and Integration, agro-industrial revolution, natural resources and smart energy, infrastructure as an engine for growth, public-private partnerships to promote transparency, women at the forefront of economic prosperity, and the future of work in the Americas.

The event gathered more than 1000 CEOs from the most important companies in the region and 12 Heads of State from the region to analyze the opportunities to promote economic growth and investment, along with the priorities of the private sector to promote development through unprecedented public-private interaction under the Americas Business Dialogue mechanism. In addition, official delegations from 24 countries in the Americas, as well as representatives from 11 international organizations and more than 260 members of the media participated in the III CEO Summit of the Americas.
